This amount typically makes approximately two 8 oz jars of sea moss gel, plus a small amount extra after preparation.

Preparation Guide

1. Place the full 2 oz pack of dried sea moss in a large bowl.
2. Rinse thoroughly with spring or filtered water to remove salt, sand, and natural ocean debris.
3. Repeat the rinse at least 2 times, gently rubbing the sea moss with your hands while cleaning.
4. Place the cleaned sea moss back into a large bowl.
5. Cover fully with fresh spring, filtered, or distilled water.
6. Add 1 lemon or lime to the soaking water.
7. Soak for 8 to 24 hours, until the sea moss softens and expands.
8. Drain and rinse again after soaking.
9. Blend with fresh water until smooth. You may also blend with your favorite fruit if desired.
10. Pour into clean, sealed jars, preferably mason jars.

Preparation Guide

place full pack of 2 oz dry Sea Moss in a big bowl
Soak in water for 8 to 24 hours max with half of gallon of distilled water and add one lemon or lime 
Drain and rinse again
Blend with some with your favorite fruit and store in the fresh, freeze remainder to use at a later time or keep in the refrigerator for 4 weeks in sealed container preferable mason jars. 

This process typically produces two 8 oz jars of sea moss gel plus a small amount extra.

Storage

Store prepared sea moss gel in a sealed container in the refrigerator and use within up to 4 weeks. For longer storage, freeze the remaining gel and thaw when ready to use.

Store raw, unused dried sea moss in a cool, dry place.
