Our shea, kokum and cocoa butters are imported from Ghana. These rich, plant-based ingredients are part of what makes NOUVO care feel so satisfying to use: the creamy texture, the softness and the moment of comfort when you give your skin or hair the attention it deserves.

We select each butter for the formula it belongs in, blending it into our small batches with purpose. From Ghana to our hands, then into your everyday routine, these ingredients connect the story of where our care begins with how it feels when you use it.

Our carrier oils, including olive oil and Haitian castor oil, are imported from our home country, Haiti. Bringing these oils into NOUVO’s small batches keeps a meaningful connection to home in the skin and hair care we share with you.

Carrier oils provide the nourishing base in our oil blends. Essential oils have a different role, bringing plant-derived scent to the formulas we make. We source our essential oils from trusted apothecary stores; they are not part of our imported ingredients.
